In fact the most common compliment paid the property is the high degree of privacy that each cottage offers, an element most appreciated by those looking to escape from the pressures of work and city life. | | Our one bedroom cottage is named /Jemima0 after Jemima Robinson, a Norfolk Islander who reached 100 years of age in 1970 and great-great grandmother of the current owner. Jemima\'s cottage has a private garden that features a fish-pond and small wooden arch bridge that give\'s the setting a special ambience of it\'s own. Jemima\'s cottage is a favourite with newly weds and couples looking for time out. | | | Our two bedroom cottages are designed especially for those either with children, or two couples travelling together. Both bedrooms are large, (minimum of king and queen) positioned at opposite ends of the cottage and both have their own ensuites. These two bed cottages are also named after Robinsons of years gone by. Cobby\'s Cottage was completed in 1998. He was the husband of Jemima. Ike\'s Cottage was finished as recently as September 1999. Ike Robinson was the father of Cobby and the first Robinson to reside on Norfolk Island in 1860. | All cottages feature the famous Norfolk Island Pine timber throughout and are fully self-contained. Also available at no charge for guests are use of the accommodation barbeque /entertaining areas, mountain bikes and snorkelling gear. It is a short 7 minutes drive to the shopping centre or the golden sands of Emily Bay.
